Paid Surveys are what exactly?
Once again another survey site has proven that people of all ages, especially teenagers, can make a few quid by answering questions. There are organizations in existence that are asking burning questions and for them to get a broad range of answers from a variety of people and lifestyles, they need ask a lot of people. It could be a well known company brand asking questions to judge how popular their products are so they can make well informed decisions on how to direct their efforts. It could be an individual looking for public opinion on popular issues of the day and what is current public thinking of stories in the news. An organization may want to know how many people drive a car or what sort of electronics they own. They simply want peoples opinions and will give out rewards for it. Rewarding people for using their personal time to sit down and fill in a survey is an effective way of getting answers. To the individual filling in a survey, they can expect to receive rewards that include cash in the form of cheque or electronic transfers, shopping vouchers, entry into cash and prize draws, and sometimes points which are saved up and cashed in to get other rewards. The Process of Taking a Survey People who sign up to a survey site, which there are dozens of, can firstly expect to fill in their name, address and other details in order to receive the reward. Secondly, the email address used to sign up to the survey site should be checked every so often as this will receive notifications and invitations to surveys. Invites sent like this will often have a time limit on so they can't be left for too long. Getting paid surveys is not as common as it is to get vouchers and entry into prize draws. To begin with, paid surveys will only give out money after a threshold has been reached and a certain amount of money has been earned. One survey site for example will pay out once £50 has been reached. This could mean filling in 50 surveys, some of which are very short and some that take a long time to complete. Filling in paid surveys is ideal for individuals who don't mind giving away 5 to 10 minutes of their time every week or so. Entry into prize draws are a lot more common. Like any lottery, 'you have to be in it to win it'. Often survey prizes include regular cash prize draws, desirable hardware like MP3 players and games consoles and anything else like holidays, trips and experiences. Entry into these competitions can be a waste of time but one has to ask ones self 'do I feel lucky?'. People who are considered lucky, are 'lucky' simply because they are more often in the right place at the right time. It may seem obvious that by entering as many competitions as possible, an individual mathematically increases their chance of winning. Vouchers are sometimes paid out instead of cash. Working in the same way as paid surveys do by saving up cash then paying out once the threshold is reached, vouchers are given instead and often are more rewarding giving increased value per survey completed. Points rewards for taking surveys is a common 'payment' method allowing survey takers to collect up points. Enough points can be exchanged for things that can be found on the survey sites, these vary enormously but are often things like consoles, vouchers and cash prizes. A Word of Warning – It's all free! Websites do exist where an upfront fee is requested in return for a list of surveys and tips. As this information can be found for free, paying for it would be a bit of a waste. To get started on getting paid, prizes, points and vouchers for completing surveys visit sites like Teen Paid Surveys which is orientated to teenagers and young adults or SurveysThatPayYou for paid surveys that give out cash. |
